our story
When our founder, Malissia Victor, was in graduate school, she was in pursuit of finding a mentor to help her start her first business. After speaking with her business professor, who she found out had never started a business and could not help her, Malissia vowed to learn as much as she could and assist others with starting their business. After becoming a serial entrepreneur, with Paper Dollz-Jewelry & Accessories being her first company, she made it her mission to help young girls receive the guidance she never received in school.

Paper Dollz Academy was created to support tween and teen girls on their entrepreneurial journey. By helping to answer questions like “Where do I even start?” and “What do I do next?” and providing mentorship along the way, we aim to provide guidance on the ins and outs of their small business start-up.

Mission
Our mission is to inspire, educate, and cultivate the entrepreneurial minds of tween and teen girls.
Why We Do
What We Do
Paper Dollz Academy was created to help fill the void of the lack of support and mentorship as it relates to young women and entrepreneurship. According to various studies, women, and Black women in particular, have less access to funding, resources, and guidance than those of their male, non-poc counterparts.
It is our mission to help fill in the gaps and give them the encouragement and resources they may need as they build and travel along their entrepreneurial journeys.
